I normally write an inspirational message every month, and don’t blog much, but I feel I have been in the midst of learning some very important life lessons lately. These last few weeks have been trying, both personally and professionally, and it’s easy to let challenges block progress. Fear sets in and after fighting it all, you can feel like a beaten down dog. It takes a lot of energy to fight for what you believe in especially when challenges in all sectors of life come at you at once, to give all your energy to situations only to be fighting thin air.

You realize that you must fight the GOOD FIGHT, in which those around you are in sync with the same goals, and you have those BESIDE YOU instead of AGAINST YOU. Through all of this, through all of the endings, challenges, and apparent strife, I’ve learned that the essence of the warrior spirit is to hold true to YOU and to the connection of the true power, the power of the ultimate source of abundance and energy, the source of the spirit, both within and to the universe.

I find sometimes when I get upset, give away my energy, get upset when things don’t go my way, I am the one ultimately suffering needlessly, when truly my energy could be put to good use elsewhere. When I remain in tune with my truth, who I am, and what is line with my own path, I can remain AT PEACE and intact with my own power and reserve my energy for where it is needed. Retaining the spirit within is true power. It doesn’t matter what goes on around you, true peace is activated when we CEASE fighting for a means to an end, for a solution that we want to see. Basically when we are fighting for WHAT WE WANT, it is usually not WHAT WE GET.  Remaining in peace…without manipulation, without expectations, without words, can bring about more than what we THINK WE WANT. Perhaps there are better things on the horizon, just a minute away from when we were about to quit trying. I believe in miracles.

It takes a lot to make me tired, and I didn’t find these lessons by just wanting to take a different route, but by ultimately becoming tired, with no more mental energy left to try to control those things I can’t. Worry, anxiety and ultimately fear can motivate that fight, but ultimately leads to more of the same. What is in MY MIRROR? Where is my fight motivated? By fear period. And fear ultimately serves no purpose to my true nature, my connection to spirit and my connection to the universe.

I ultimately must trust that if I stay in line with my truth 100% that I cannot waiver and I must fight to preserve what I believe in. If it is love, so be it. A creative endeavor, taking risks to bring it to fruition. A loved one passing, believing that they stand by me. And those that I love ultimately and dearly, releasing them to their own paths and taking no responsibilities to their decisions, nor taking them personally.

Actions speak louder than words, and it is through my actions that I “speak” my truth, that I show others what I am about. How I live my life is my expression of reality, not what I say. I am fallible, I am human and I let people down sometimes. But as long as I am continually seeking to better myself spiritually and make amends by altering my actions to show others I care about them, I am growing. Sometimes actions are silent. When I work on myself and become less burdened, the rewards of peace are brought to those who I love. I don’t have to change a thing about them. I have to change me. They will ultimately grow with me, or not.

Some insights about the true warrior:

A true warrior seeks to preserve his/her truth at ALL COSTS. The moment the warrior gives way to fear, the light becomes dim. The warrior must always fight, must always be courageous, must always be honorable, must always be true. But first, he/she must be true and committed to to those virtues within himself. The moment he fights out of fear, ego, anxiety, or power, chaos prevails. It is not the way of the warrior. We all step off our battle lines, but remember if you are a warrior spirit, people will follow your example and be inspired to be greater. Inspiration is magic and is our duty to inspire the warrior in others.

To fight does not mean to struggle. It means to suffer, to be willing to endure pain, to be willing to accept, to be willing to forgive, to be willing to die to the old self and be born into a new life - one that truly matters. Those are the wars, the wars within ourselves. It is easy to have an altercation, to shout at someone else, to have road rage, and to hurt others at our own expense. But ultimately you go home to the same miserable person with the same type of life. When we are in tune with our true power, when we are connected to spirit, to God, we can ultimately be of true service to others. We can then, and only then, truly love another.

Intermediate Mediumship/Group and Performance Mediumship:

This class will focus on intermediate techniques associated with group and performance mediumship. The elements of group mediumship differ greatly from one on one sessions.

Techniques will be discussed and practiced including clustering (reading more than one person at a time), switching to new messages, and tuning into the correct person receiving the messages. Client centered vs. spirit centered approaches will be discussed along with opening and closing of the channel for receiving messages. Voice projection and stage presence will also be covered. There is much speculation regarding the “SUPERMOON” of March 19th heralding all sorts of Earth’s changes, and some scientists thinking it “not so good”. However, I have my own thoughts on a more metaphysical level which I will post below:

On the eve of March 19th, the beauty and splendor of the moon was enough to mystify, but what are it’s supernatural qualities? Of course the intensity cannot be argued. Of course this is just my sense. Just another side of the coin Taking it from the planetary level, back to the human level — and even though we are spiritual beings having a human experience and the collective consciousness is beyond our separate identities, it still affects us on our spiritual pathways (which at this point in time we must address SEPARATELY for the ultimate goal of coming together to make the necessary changes we need to make as whole. I don’t like any language that could be construed in any non-constructive way. So I will keep the context neutral in a sense that this moon heralds a “call to action” on our parts to shed the parts of ourselves that no longer serve the greater good — because in a sense it IS telling us that changes ARE coming and we need to be at our highest frequency to be ready for these changes. It is a foreshadowing so to speak of what is to come and what can be if we as individuals don’t take part in the collective — lets take a deeper look at what YOU can do, because each of us on a soul level has a responsibility (especially now) to progress spiritually so that we can do what we came here to do….

So I will break it down a little further. In the past few years we have seen a lot of “unearthing” with our personal lives. Specifically this past year, a lot has fallen away. Relationships coming to a close, those crossing over to the other side, mother nature asserting herself, major job changes, relocations and the like.

Either we will choose to accept “the bandaid being ripped off” for something better or we will choose to stay within the wheel of our own patterns. Not making a choice is the same as choosing that things will always remain the same. We must make difficult choices at this time and be willing to sacrifice those things in life which no longer serve us — not so much for OURSELVES and our own instincts by in the spirit of service and for the greater good.

All choices that we make at this point either run along the lines of spiritual progression or spiritual destruction (at it’s baseline). Our planet is letting us know that we MUST start to make soul choices that are in line with spiritual progress, NOT material progress and NOT technological progress. As a human race, we have lost our magic, our spirit, and the passion for our spiritual natures. We cannot stay on the neutral fence for too long for the world and all the lessons we are supposed to learn will pass us by. Sitting idle on spiritual progress will only be like a movie in fast forward. The only constant is that you will remain the same and watch as you grow older.

At this moment, the moon presenting herself in the way she did signals a path for us of ILLUMINATION. It is so important that you see where YOU shine brightly, and to seek your mission. This is a time for clarity to find out WHO YOU REALLY ARE. Do not stay stuck in who you are NOT. FEAR of the unknown can keep us at times in limbo, but it is so much more exciting to take risks spiritually to see the rewards you will reap and to see where the road takes you.

If there is one aspect that I need to emphasize, it is that you be aware of your comfort zones and make efforts to stay OUT of them, especially if you would like to be where you need to be this year. This is not a time to ruminate or get stuck in the past. The light of this specific moon has cleansed the past and is showing us that we are on a new mission — a mission for peace, love and harmony.

How can we do that if we are in negative patterns, lacking in self care, making decisions based on self, and running on lower energy instincts? Self Will will always block us because we want to remain comfortable — being uncomfortable is just too much to handle — so we would rather not take that leap at times for fear of the DISCOMFORT. SUCK IT UP! Be a little uncomfortable for the time being — it is only for your highest good. Besides you won’t be able to meet like minded spiritual people on the journey without climbing the WHOLE mountain. So don’t turn around because the climb is a little tough. It’s SUPPOSED to be. What is hard worked for is EARNED — and therefore cherished. Spiritual progress is NOT easy, but it is simple. Simple in the sense that it involves doing the right thing. When you act out of your highest good, the universe rewards you, because in essence your actions carry through to others and are connected to the universe as a whole.

Do you realize that by the end of the day YOUR BAD MOOD could affect a stadium full of people? I know it’s hard to believe but it’s true. In the same sense, a SMILE could have the same positive effect. Are we in for a LOT of changes on this planet — YES. Is it possible for us to make a change for the better? Absolutely. This is where free will comes in. We can choose to start the day over at any time. It IS POSSIBLE to make decisions for our highest good in an instant. Which reminds me of “The Road Not Taken” By Robert Frost:

I’m proud to say that I’ve worked for twelve years introducing America to various brilliant experts on The Oprah Show and other media venues. This is refreshing for me, because sometimes I think I’ve seen it all. I started working with a client named Marisa Liza Pell, who carries herself with the same dignity, integrity and sense of fun that are hallmarks of the best clients a PR person can hope for. Marisa Pell is truly the New Appealing Star in the Spiritual arena like no-one we’ve experienced before.

Marisa Liza Pell is a Spiritual Medium and Medical Intuitive – and one of the youngest in the media today. She is the most down-to-earth and disarmingly honest Spiritual Medium I have met. She also looks like the girl next door and doesn’t have black beady eyes or a crystal ball.
