January Inspirational Message & Mini Messages From Medium Marisa Liza Pell

Greetings!

Well, here we are in the New Year, and many of you may have had a tough transition over the last few weeks. Stressful life events, or just internal struggles may have been on the forefront.  Just know that as of this week, things are starting to turn around, and “go back to normal” so to speak. There has been a huge shift with many of you, and while some of you may have been uncomfortable, the shifts were necessary and “fortunate”. This is positive whether you see them as “good” or “bad”. If you are looking for direct answers or a guarantee of how things will play out for you this year, think again. Because even your best carefully laid plans could turn into new directions. The more you go with the flow, and live one day at a time, the better.  So many of us are shifting right now that people’s free will choices will be determining a lot of different directions, and as such, even psychic predictions could be very off.

I wanted to write about this a bit as it has been becoming clear over the past year that dependencies on psychic readings and channeled information could indeed be detrimental to your pathway. Especially if you let the information influence you in your life decisions. If you are an overly anxious person, readings can also put you in a state of fear and worry, which can overtake you. This is not the purpose of receiving the information, nor is it meant to put you into this state of mind.

First, lets explore the term “psychic”. In a raw sense, psychic ability relates to various ways of receiving information, which can come in the form of clairvoyant visions, clairaudience (or clear hearing) or clairsentience (clear sensing), to name a few.  In general, we may hear the word psychic, or see a sign for a psychic reading, and think, “future prediction”.  Some of us may be so anxious over a situation that going to a psychic or the idea of a “definite outcome” will provide us with some false sense of control or “padding” against an intended outcome.  What state of mind are you going to get a reading in? Are you going for fun, for spiritual insight, or because you in a state of feeling “out of control”? I can tell you that a very high percentage of people would be going to get a reading out of a state of desperation, because of the lack of feeling in control, or feeling an intense need for  a sense of peace. Many may come for career and even more for relationship questions.

Being in this field myself, I can say that I have done and experienced all of those things, and having that “out of control” feeling sometimes puts me in a state of mind where I want some relief and I want it fast! And from seeing how outward influences can really have an after effect on our actions and emotions, it’s important to clarify what is really at the heart of the matter.

First and foremost, intuitive insights, both your own and those close to you, are a gift to be accessed as a GUIDE to your life, not as a guarantee of an outcome. It is also important to note that these intuitive “hits” filter through our personalities, emotions, and ideas of how we process our own thoughts. Even the best objective reader may interpret visions or auditory messages differently than the insight was intended.  But that isn’t really the point. The main question is: what (or whom) are you DEPENDING on? Most of the time we are looking for outside circumstances to change, and believe that if these external issues were the way we wanted them, then we would be happy.  If you look back on your life, think about those things that you wanted to happen, i.e. getting the good job, stabilizing your finances, creating a happy home, and being in a relationship. Think about how bad you wanted one or more of those things to happen. And now think about what happened a few months, or even a year after you “acquired” those things? Were you still unsettled? Was it “enough”, or did you want something “more”?

It’s probably obvious where I am going with this. When any of us depend on outside circumstances to “make us happy or whole”, we are really putting dependence on OTHER PEOPLE and NOT GOD. Usually, when we have darkness in our spirit, we feel unfulfilled, and no amount of acquirement will lead to us feeling satisfied. Something will always seem “off” and we want to get out of ourselves. Some of us may resort to bad habits, be it overeating, drugs, alcohol, self pity, worry, fear, anxiety or depression to help us cope with the feeling of “not feeling right”, or being bored, unsettled and not comfortable in our own skin.

This is not an easy concept. Many of us will veer along the path and go back to our sources of external satisfaction, but they will be fleeting and the instant gratification of the moment of comfort will not be enough to settle us inside. Therefore, no amount of psychic readings, insight, or spiritual guidance will ever be enough.  It’s imperative to see that our inner temple needs to be bright in order to radiate that vibration outward, thereby attracting those people, places and situations that will be in line with our current vibration. This will provide us with the current spiritual lessons we need to experience. When self esteem is sought outside of you, the emptiness will always remain. No amount of reassurance will do the trick and relief will only be fleeting.

So some of you may still be asking, well what about my reading? Someone told me I would meet the man of my dreams in 2011 and it hasn’t happened! What gives??? Well remember, the reader is seeing a pathway, or a possibility. If life was just a series of destined points, then we would be basically riding on amusement park rides that were all predetermined and had the same drops and curves from beginning to end.  If the track were that simple, why then would we come to the earth plane with free will to determine our choices for spiritual growth? Sure, there is no doubt that a psychic may see a guide post and/or even a life event, but to expect that you have to do nothing but sit back and let it occur will only leave you feeling confused. Let’s for instance say that you got a reading and you would really like to meet someone special. You sit down and the psychic tells you that you will meet a handsome man with dark hair in the spring of that same year. You get excited, almost elated, feeling like your problems have all been solved. You leave the reading feeling great for the moment and go home and tell your friends and family about this exciting prediction. Over the course of the year, you get invited to social functions, birthday parties, get asked to go out with friends, but you’re not interested. You like staying home, watching tv, reading and aren’t much of the social butterfly.  You may think, “no need for all this! I’m going to meet the perfect man in just a few months!”

Well, what happens? The spring comes and goes, and you’re confused as to why you haven’t been out on on a date, and where is this handsome man? Well, what about YOU? Life events occurred and you stayed home, missing out on possibly meeting that special person. You depended on the outcome and took no responsibility for your personal action. Months go by and now you’re angry at that psychic!!! How could that reader give you hope of that man only for it not to be true??? Then the blame shifts again to another person, and you are still not seeing the growth that needs to be accomplished in you. We only get out of life what we put in, and the truth is that opportunities are presented to us every day for new experiences that can lead to new pathways. What happens, WE BECOME LAZY, and say there will be ANOTHER EXPERIENCE, WE COULD DO IT TOMORROW, and/or ITS JUST NOT SOMETHING WE WANT TO DO.

We are now a culture of people with a lot of missed life experiences and opportunities and sooner or later, the years pass and we wonder why things haven’t changed. We may even hold out for a prediction to come to pass, and not change circumstances due to the outcome we had hoped for. Of course the above example is one in theory. There are many other circumstances that we could discuss. And of course, it is a possibility, that YES the reader may be totally off.  However, usually the difference is in the analytical interpretation of information filtered through the personal consciousness of the person.

This is why I love mediumship. The information that comes through in many cases are validations of those who were with us. This is for the pure purpose of showing that our loved ones ARE still with us, watching our life events and still very much have an INPUT in our life decisions. Now, let me ask you this: If your loved one was still on the earth plane and they gave you advice on a situation, would you stress over not doing what they said? Probably not, you would take the opinion, process it and use it to guide you to make your own decisions. Most of you wouldn’t listen at all if you really wanted to do something. So why so much stress over a relative from the other side mentioning their opinion about your job, relationship or life situation? Remember, in mediumship, the medium is merely relaying a message from the third person in spirit from the other side.  Sometimes the person may say, “Well the medium said this.” The medium, (him or her) technically did “say” the words, but the messages are coming from another source, which are filtered and relayed.  This is MUCH different from psychic readings, where you have TWO parties exchanging energy on the earth plane.

In either case, I think it’s important to evaluate where YOU are, and how much you may or may not put complete dependence on outside circumstances, opinions, readings or other people’s ideas of what you “should be” or “should do”. If you are having a great day, and someone says something off color, or you get a reading with information that you consider “not good”, will that totally throw you off for the day, or for weeks or months? If you have experienced this, it’s really important that it clicks for you and that you first identify that this could be VERY detrimental to your personal spiritual path.  It may be best that you reel your energy in and start to re-focus. Because if you are having this experience with readings, you are probably allowing a lot of other outside circumstances to sway you without even knowing it. So what do you do?

First, put a HALT to those things that are influencing you for the moment. Remember that the people around you may absolutely be correct in their advice, however, that may help you in one decision, but won’t be helpful in the long run for a feeling of overall peace and contentment. You gain self esteem by doing things “of esteem”, and the more you start to make your own decisions, and OWN THEM, (yes even if they are incorrect), you will find that making decisions isn’t really that bad. So what if you find you made a choice that isn’t serving you best, YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE it, and once you see that, you will not be afraid to be wrong anyone. You will not procrastinate as much, and you will find it easier to take productive risks and move to a better way of living.

Second, after you pause, think about your connection to God, a higher power, a spiritual pathway, acts of service (because they get you out of self), and pathways of action and accountability. Usually spiritual centers have mentors. If you are a member of your church, you may be able to contact clergy. You may have a spiritual advisor or sponsor through a twelve step approach, or you may find a counselor who’s methodologies attract you. In any event, you can choose OBJECTIVE ACCOUNTABILITY with a trusted friend, confidant, or spiritual teacher to aid you in your path of spiritual action and service. Because once we OUT OF OURSELVES, we could SEE OUTSIDE OURSELVES and gain a broader view of our purpose and destiny. Then we have OPTIONS and we can choose wisely and with spiritual direction.

You may have asked why is the HALT first and not God? Of course God is first, but worry and fear block your access points. If you are racing in the mind and taking actions that arise from SELF WILL, you have a hard time hearing your guidance. However, if you are having trouble with halting, you will need to pray to ask God to help you have the strength to pause and to halt anything that is not benefiting you.

What is making you anxious? A lot of people find that certain things make them obsess or feel bad but feel the need to engage in it anyway. This could be watching the news, texting, getting crazy over your cell phone, or obsessing over social media sites like facebook. Take a break from these influences that may make your mind race even more, and making those decisions to take care of yourself will make your feel like you are making positive choices for yourself. It doesn’t mean you have to stop forever, just until you get yourself back on track. This could even involve friends, family members, or coworkers that could be draining you. Once you make choices for your best interest, you will start to be aware of your own inner guide, your true sense of light, and you will start to feel more confident in your own choices.

And of course spiritual insight, messages and guidance is positive, because it lights the way a little bit so that we may be able to see our options. Just make sure you are truly taking responsibility for your actions and choices and know that channeled information is ultimately a gift for us. It holds a mirror to validate sometimes what we are feeling, to show us possibilities, to provide spiritual awareness, and to connect us to something higher.  What it isn’t is a magic wand that is designed to take away your problems or discomfort through your life lessons. Remember, any time you are uncomfortable, you are ultimately growing and changing!!! And that’s a beautiful thing!!

All in all, do what works for you!! Trust God and trust yourself.

The Essence Of The Warrior Spirit: Some Life Lessons.

Thursday, September 22nd, 2011

I normally write an inspirational message every month, and don’t blog much, but I feel I have been in the midst of learning some very important life lessons lately. These last few weeks have been trying, both personally and professionally, and it’s easy to let challenges block progress. Fear sets in and after fighting it all, you can feel like a beaten down dog. It takes a lot of energy to fight for what you believe in especially when challenges in all sectors of life come at you at once, to give all your energy to situations only to be fighting thin air.

You realize that you must fight the GOOD FIGHT, in which those around you are in sync with the same goals, and you have those BESIDE YOU instead of AGAINST YOU. Through all of this, through all of the endings, challenges, and apparent strife, I’ve learned that the essence of the warrior spirit is to hold true to YOU and to the connection of the true power, the power of the ultimate source of abundance and energy, the source of the spirit, both within and to the universe.

I find sometimes when I get upset, give away my energy, get upset when things don’t go my way, I am the one ultimately suffering needlessly, when truly my energy could be put to good use elsewhere. When I remain in tune with my truth, who I am, and what is line with my own path, I can remain AT PEACE and intact with my own power and reserve my energy for where it is needed. Retaining the spirit within is true power. It doesn’t matter what goes on around you, true peace is activated when we CEASE fighting for a means to an end, for a solution that we want to see. Basically when we are fighting for WHAT WE WANT, it is usually not WHAT WE GET.  Remaining in peace…without manipulation, without expectations, without words, can bring about more than what we THINK WE WANT. Perhaps there are better things on the horizon, just a minute away from when we were about to quit trying. I believe in miracles.

It takes a lot to make me tired, and I didn’t find these lessons by just wanting to take a different route, but by ultimately becoming tired, with no more mental energy left to try to control those things I can’t. Worry, anxiety and ultimately fear can motivate that fight, but ultimately leads to more of the same. What is in MY MIRROR? Where is my fight motivated? By fear period. And fear ultimately serves no purpose to my true nature, my connection to spirit and my connection to the universe.

I ultimately must trust that if I stay in line with my truth 100% that I cannot waiver and I must fight to preserve what I believe in. If it is love, so be it. A creative endeavor, taking risks to bring it to fruition. A loved one passing, believing that they stand by me. And those that I love ultimately and dearly, releasing them to their own paths and taking no responsibilities to their decisions, nor taking them personally.

Actions speak louder than words, and it is through my actions that I “speak” my truth, that I show others what I am about. How I live my life is my expression of reality, not what I say. I am fallible, I am human and I let people down sometimes. But as long as I am continually seeking to better myself spiritually and make amends by altering my actions to show others I care about them, I am growing. Sometimes actions are silent. When I work on myself and become less burdened, the rewards of peace are brought to those who I love. I don’t have to change a thing about them. I have to change me. They will ultimately grow with me, or not.

Some insights about the true warrior:

A true warrior seeks to preserve his/her truth at ALL COSTS. The moment the warrior gives way to fear, the light becomes dim. The warrior must always fight, must always be courageous, must always be honorable, must always be true. But first, he/she must be true and committed to to those virtues within himself. The moment he fights out of fear, ego, anxiety, or power, chaos prevails. It is not the way of the warrior. We all step off our battle lines, but remember if you are a warrior spirit, people will follow your example and be inspired to be greater. Inspiration is magic and is our duty to inspire the warrior in others.

To fight does not mean to struggle. It means to suffer, to be willing to endure pain, to be willing to accept, to be willing to forgive, to be willing to die to the old self and be born into a new life - one that truly matters. Those are the wars, the wars within ourselves. It is easy to have an altercation, to shout at someone else, to have road rage, and to hurt others at our own expense. But ultimately you go home to the same miserable person with the same type of life. When we are in tune with our true power, when we are connected to spirit, to God, we can ultimately be of true service to others. We can then, and only then, truly love another.

May 2010 Inspirational Message From Marisa Liza Pell

Greetings!

Congrats! You are through the majority of the major harsh energies from the past several months including misunderstandings, delays and worries. This is especially true concerning business partnerships and the workplace in general. The word “monkey wrench” comes to mind! Sometimes your carefully laid plans don’t work out no matter how hard you try to force them to happen.

And there is usually a reason for that! It’s either not the right time, or a different opportunity is meant to be in your life. Remember, what the universe has in store for you is usually better than ANYTHING you will dream up for yourself. Plus, the universe is not self-defeating and does not look to sabotage our lives!

Right now you are in the midst of some very clear and “clean” energy. It’s like going from a traffic jam in the city to a nice Sunday drive through the country side. But those of you who are used to the chaotic life will be quite weary during this time. You might ask, “Why am I feeling so calm”? “The other shoe must be dropping soon!” or better yet, “I’M BORED!!” Yes, this calm energy will make you feel a little bored, but with the racing mind a little on a the back burner, you are ripe with new possibilities for creative expression AND to put your affirmations to the universe on the table. What are your dreams? Now is the time to reaffirm them to the universe, because anything you put out now will act like a healthy seed that will begin to sprout great results!

Do not try to plan your “future” right now. There is a saying which makes me laugh every time but it’s so true, “If you want to make God laugh, plan your day!” Sometimes your carefully laid plans are really not the best for you! If you’re unhappy or most of your life has been difficult, maybe you should STOP planning — because the decisions you are making on your own probably aren’t working in the long run.

This is a time to trust others and have faith! Of all the challenges in the universe, FEAR is the largest culprit. It affects more of us than anything, and misread perceptions are the number one cause of us acting out towards our fellow human beings. What we perceive is usually our reality, but we usually fall short in getting the FACTS! Usually, instead of communicating our fears, we go into protection mode, and when we PERCEIVE a threat, we act on it. Whether that means pulling back from an important person, not being open with a loved one, or acting out through irrational emotions — the only person you will hurt is you.

How many of you have found out that what you believed in your head wasn’t true at all once you asked for the facts? Perhaps you held onto anger and resentment for years only to find out that you misinterpreted someone’s intentions. Being overly protective of yourself will only alienate people! However, this is not as easy as it sounds.

Back in the old days, people didn’t lock their doors!! Can you believe it? Yes, people actually trusted their neighbors and knew that in time of need they could rely on those in their community for help. In the era of TV and Media News, we hear the message of fear every day — PEOPLE ARE BAD! They want to rob from you, steal from you, sue you and so on. We don’t hear about people that are GOOD and who help other people.

Also, we are trained to take actions so we aren’t taken advantage of. We are told that if we scream at people we get results! The screeching wheel gets the oil. We need to put up fences to defend our property lines! Don’t stop to help someone in need, you might get hurt! We are being told to isolate ourselves more and more from our fellow human beings. The message in our minds is that at anytime someone could turn against us! So you better protect yourself! Doesn’t that sound silly? What happens to those people that do this? Yes, they end up alone and bitter at the world!

I could tell you personally that this is not the case when booking clients for my services. I give my appointment setters and administrative staff full reign over the business I take in. An overly aggressive client, a rude tone, or someone speaking to my staff in a disrespectful manner will not get an appointment.

Yes, it is true. I do not take every single client that wants to book an appointment if the energy is not right. I know that this will only drain my staff and myself, as WELL AS THE CLIENT. Knowing when something or someone is NOT RIGHT FOR YOU is the solution. Who wants an unhappy client? I have to know my limitations and what I can handle and what I can’t. I am not superwoman and cannot handle everyone’s energies. I tend to react and then I don’t give my best. However, I do have readers that I refer who are not affected by the same energies I am sensitive to! Knowing yourself is the first step to a peaceful life!! Knowing what WON’T work for you before you agree to something is the key!

The question for you is: Who are YOU saying YES to when you should be saying NO? In business are you dealing with people who aren’t right for you just for the money? Are you in a job that doesn’t treat you right because you are in fear of not finding another one? Are you helping so many people that you have no time for yourself? Do you live in guilt that others won’t like you if you don’t do things for them? Let me say for sure, it will never be enough!! Guilt is an endless treadmill! People pleasing doesn’t exist — because most of the people you are trying to please are never pleased to begin with!!!

So on this lovely weekend in May, get yourself off the couch and do something fun! Plan a trip– give yourself something to look forward to in life! Say NO today!! You don’t have to be rude — see how it feels! Just say, “I’m sorry I have other things planned today!” Give me a call during the week! More often than not, that person will find someone or something else in the upcoming day for relief and YOU WILL BE HAVING FUN!!

Have courage and take great risks!

All my best,

Marisa

November 2009 Inspirational Message From Marisa Pell

Greetings:

You may feel a little sluggish all month — trying to push yourself to get your work done and feeling that you have absolutely NO ENERGY to do it. Think of your high school homework to get you in the mood. Remember how you would do everything BUT what you needed to do to avoid doing your homework or studying for that exam? Think of how it relates today!

And think about how it got done. Whether it was the night before, or a 10 minute cram on the due date, one thing is for sure. You had to just get yourself to SIT DOWN AND START. That is the hardest part.

So think about how you are beating around the bush this month and be honest with yourself about what it is that YOU have to just SIT DOWN AND START (or finish). I know for me — the one thing I put off is cleaning and organizing. However, if there is something else I really want to avoid doing, you can bet money you will find me CLEANING to avoid having to get the other work done! Can you relate?

The hardest part is just SITTING DOWN AND BEGINNING. The rest will flow. Most likely this relates to personal goals surrounding you this month.

Now onto career. I received a question from a client on Facebook about needing some insight about getting work in today’s economy and I promised to incorporate this into this month’s inspirational message.

Sometimes, energetically, we place our fate into other people’s hands. The belief is that our abundance is “out of our control” and that other people need to provide us with the opportunities to make our dreams happen — or else we are s%^& out of luck.

This is an illusion that gives all of your power away — and sometimes gives you an excuse to be lazy. Is laziness a character defect? Yes, in some instances. However, some of you may not make the effort because you are afraid of success! Yes, I know it sounds absurd. Some don’t believe they DESERVE happiness, and are more comfortable when times are tough. Where do you fit in?

Also, you may become afraid of actually being uncomfortable because something is AN EFFORT. We are used to instant gratification. Everything in our world is fast. If we want FAST FOOD, we go through a drive thru. How quick are we to get tempered when we have to wait a few minutes for the drive thru attendant to ask for our order? As a culture, we don’t like to WAIT for much. Why should we? We have most of what we want at our fingertips — look at technology today.

The question becomes: How much are you in control anyway? If you are in line with the universe, amazing things can happen. If your will (what you WANT for yourself) is stronger, you can definitely make a mess of the opportunities that are meant for you.

Think about this: Could it be possible that the universe has things in store for you that are much BETTER than you could think of yourself? Reflect on all the things that you thought were “BAD” that happened in your life, and now look back on all the GREAT events that happened as a result of that door closing. Would you have people or a job in your life now if a door didn’t close at some point?

Sometimes if you don’t listen to the gentle urges of the universe to end something, it is ended for you. It no longer serves you. Don’t leave cat claws on the wall trying to hold on to it!!

Also, why wait for others to give you the “break” you need? Every business has been created from an inspired IDEA.

Some questions to ask yourself:

  • What is your idea?
  • Do you have something new and inventive to share with the world?
  • What are some creative ways for you to make some money while you are waiting for a company to hire you?
  • What did you want to do when you were a kid?
  • What tasks bring you positive energy?
  • If you could make a full time living doing one thing, what would it be?
  • Is this something you have the ability to create?
  • Are you anxiously waiting for SOMEONE ELSE to do it for you?
  • What are you procrastinating about?
  • Make a goal list for yourself for the next 6 months (written not typed).
  • If looking to get hired: think of creative ways to get employer’s attention. Don’t rely on e-mail submissions.
  • Find out the weaknesses in the company and propose a plan to meet their needs
  • EXTRA EFFORT IS REQUIRED!!!

Perhaps you have answered these questions, and now are asking. Ok, then what do I have to do? Don’t get overwhelmed! Take one small step in your desired direction. Maybe do a little online research or check out a book on the topic. Anything will help you to move forward and put the intention out there.

Worrying will do nothing.

All my best!!

February 2009 Inspirational Message From Marisa Pell

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

ImageGreetings!

Ok, so I’m getting pretty frustrated with the domino effect of the negative thought obsessions with the economy. Granted, there is a crisis, however, the media has a very strong hold on how we think as a whole and make our decisions. What if the people at the news station decided today to tell us that the economy is back and better than ever? Would you have a change in thought even though it may not be true?

It’s time to seek your own wise counsel and operate from an intuitive standpoint rather than follow a negative wave of thought consciousness. Get creative and find ways to have fun generating income. If you have a lot of money, spend some to keep a neighbor in business.

To be blunt: If your thoughts go to worry and fear, you are contributing to the economic crisis. At a time when people need some hope and inspiration, the country needs strong leaders and positive thinkers.

Why not be one of them? Don’t get me wrong — I’m not telling you to go spend all your money! What I am saying is to not let your mind go racing into gloom and doom thinking!

Tailoring back your expenses right now is a smart idea. Mentally planning for poverty is not. Money is energy, and needs to keep circulating. Hoarding and holding back in fear will stop this circulation. Eventually, the energy of your own money will come to a halt.

If you don’t circulate your money, money cannot be circulated back to you. Think about it — what if everyone stopped spending all their money right now? There would be no businesses, no jobs, no grocery stores, no doctors, no home builders, no electrical company — I can go on and on.

We all depend on all of these things — but what do all of these have in common? PEOPLE! People need money circulated back to them to live and put food on the table. If these PEOPLE are making money, more companies can thrive and MORE JOBS can be created to give more people the opportunity to provide for themselves and their families.

Spending wisely within your means is fine. Any extreme activity can be destructive. Affirm that you’ll make it through. Think in terms of abundance. Give your waitress a good tip (provided she/he give you good service!)

Don’t try to cut corners, or pull a fast one just to save some money. This energy will be returned to you three fold. Just do the right thing. Help people in your family, office or community to stay positive. Do something fun that doesn’t cost a lot of money. These moments with friends and family are priceless anyway.

Something else to try: ASK YOUR SPIRITUAL SOURCE FOR MORE ABUNDANCE. Pray and ask for help! Stop relying on your own resources. If we follow spiritual law, we will only know abundance. Ask humbly for help in good faith for your needs to be provided for, and they will be in one way or another.

An ineffective way is to DEMAND your spiritual source or higher power for WHAT YOU THINK YOU WANT. The universe will deliver your abundance in unexpected ways. These ways may not be money directly given to you. A family member may help you out, or someone may pick up the check for dinner.

BE GRATEFUL for your abundance and circulate the energy of abundance and it will be returned to you!

All my best!

June 2008 Inspirational Message From Marisa Pell

marisa.jpg

Greetings,

Do you feel like a tornado hit your life this month? If you do, you’re not alone. Mercury Retrograde put many aspects into a tailspin over the past few weeks creating mass confusion and miscommunication. But don’t worry, the last two weeks were the worst, and now we are coming out of it. It’s best not to make any large decisions, especially FINANCIAL ones until after June 19th. Personally, I would wait until we are in the clear…closer to July 1.

This aspect seemed to hit the sector of friendships this month. You may have heard of many misunderstandings between long term friends. If this aspect got the best of you, you may even have cut off their friendship. Or a close friend may be dealing with this. But don’t worry. Your friends aren’t gone forever. However, this will be a period of positive space, growth and change for a lot of people. Since we are in a land of confusion during mercury rx, misunderstandings are usually clouded and temporary. Once the communication aspects return, things will turn around. Any decisions made during mercury rx are usually temporary and have a chance to be changed.

Whatever your confusion may be, my advice for the rest of the month is DON’T PUSH IT. Do not try to force things to happen, or to make people see your point of view. You will only distance them further, and it will be even harder to remedy later. It’s best not to force your will onto anything you think you want. Reflect on the old saying, “Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.”

If you force something now, during a time when things are cloudy, it may not be something you’ll want in the long run. Then you’ll have an even larger issue of trying to “get out” or undo what you agreed to. This is especially true of contracts, agreements, and financial business. READ THE FINE PRINT MORE THAN ONCE. Better yet, have a second set of eyes look over everything.
