Greetings!

Here we are again! This retrograde has not been pleasant, especially with trying to get technical issues handled and everything in order.

My advice: get as much done as you can. You will see the energy moving a little bit more after September 12th. I would give it to the 15th to be safe. Know that any contracts, follow-ups and deals will most likely have delays at this point.

There may also be delays in your personal life as well, especially for those of you planning a big event such as a wedding, anniversary or big birthday party. Keep everything fluid, and try to go with the flow. Those of you who like order and well laid plans may have a hard time with this. That’s an excellent lesson in fluidity though. Sometimes, when we flow with what the universe has in store for us, it may be a LOT better than anything we have planned out for ourselves.

Other than delays, this energy feels like a horse waiting to come out of the gate! That’s why I put a horse on the newsletter this month. Horses are meant to run fee! But when that energy is pent up and the horse can’t run, the energy becomes wild and imbalanced. So here’s why I say this. Like the horse, you are waiting to rush out of the gate and get on with the race. You want to move! You want to get things done!

We would have a problem if there was nothing to do once the gates opened right? All that erratic energy would be for nothing. However, the energy coming after September 12th warrants otherwise. There are opportunities to be seized and like the horse race, you better go after them or another horse will win! That’s right, this energy can be quite competitive — but the rewards of the race are well worth reaping!

So for right now, prepare yourself for the race, and get as much ORGANIZED as possible. Knowledge right now is power. Research is key. Don’t come out of the gate and run wildly all over the place. To get ahead now, risks without research will not bode well. If you are taking on a new endeavor, make sure you do all the background work first! For those of you who like to shoot first and then aim, you may want to think twice. Risk without proper knowledge is not favorable at this time. Like the horse, you want to remain graceful as you run. You don’t want to come across erratic, rushed and unprepared.

Also, you want to remain focused, in your zone, and without thought in this process. This relates to anything business or personal you would like to achieve. Those who run out like a wild goose will burn out and be left in the dust. With your determination and knowledge behind you, you will endure.

I have a rather interesting parallel that I would like to illustrate that I find quite humorous but so on target with this month’s message. Over the labor day weekend, Rich and I decided to take an impromptu day trip to Dewey Beach in DE. I wanted to show him a place that I spent a lot of my time as a kid. It was a beautiful day! We both love playing games on the boardwalk, especially the competitive ones where you could win BIG prizes. The more people that play, the larger the prize.

So as we were walking down the boardwalk, we came across a horse racing game! How fitting. Basically there are 12 spots open for people to sit, and you have to roll a ball into colored holes to get the horse to move. Different colors represent how many spaces the horse will move at a time. There are a few red holes which are the ones you want to hit, and then there are blue and yellow ones. Sometimes the ball won’t go in any hole and you have to wait until it comes out again to roll it. So you lose momentum.

We must have played close to 10 times, and for many of those times, one of us came close to winning but for some reason we kept coming in second or third place. We seemed to have lost momentum. I really wanted to win that horse! So I thought I would try something different. I was spending too much time watching the other horses! I wanted to know where I was in the race. When I was practicing rolling the ball before the race started, I was focused and relaxed and wasn’t concerned about the other people or the race.

However, once the bell sounded, my anxious energy to win the prize took over and I started getting too excited. This made for bad rolls and a lot of gutter rolls! The more I tapped into the competitive energy of the other players, the further back I found myself.

So I decided to test a theory. I decided not to look at the other horses at all during the race. I would not even look to see where my own horse was. I would block out all other energy and completely focus in a relaxed way in just rolling the ball. The bell sounded.

I started to slowly roll the ball with focus. Time after time, the ball was landing in the two big spaces. I didn’t miss a shot. However, I was laughing at myself thinking how slow the process was. I thought for sure I was tossing too slow to win. The focused energy felt like I was in slow motion. Interesting, this is exactly how I feel when I do galleries. Time doesn’t seem to exist. I was sure I was too slow to be ahead, so I just continued to toss good shots.

Finally the bell sounded, and Rich looked up and started tapping me. He couldn’t believe it. Not only did my horse win, but it was not even close to the other horses. The whole group was together and mine was so far ahead. I never saw anything like it with that game. Usually, all the horses are clustered together in some way. There wasn’t even a chance for another horse to come close in this game!

I tried to repeat it again, but couldn’t. What started off as a boardwalk game turned into a very cool spiritual lesson! Focusing on everyone else depletes your energy. Competition is an illusion. Focusing on yourself and being in your own flow works better than worrying about what everyone else is doing. Stay out of your own way! Don’t make other people’s life your business. Channel your energy toward your dreams in a graceful way!

In the end, I realized it wasn’t any one else that was impeding my progress. It was me competing against myself! How does this example relate to your life?

Also, this story represents flying out of the gate as unprepared, erratic and aggressively competitive. Those traits will not get you anywhere right now, especially with the current energies at hand. Know your plan and carefully put it in to place. Stay relaxed, focused and inwardly confident. You can only win with that energy! Remember others feel what you give off, and people generally distance themselves from this energy.

Overall there is a lot to be won this month. Just don’t get too excited! Celebrate when everything has manifested itself. And it will! I’m sure of that!

If you have already read part one about the Roses sent from the other side on my mom’s birthday, awesome! Sometimes, even these amazing validations surprise me! After I wrote the blog, I didn’t expect that there would be anything more surprising news that day! However, the next day, I received another phone call from my mother.

She said, “You won’t believe this! At around 9PM, my brother called from NJ (my uncle) and asked me if I received the roses today! I didn’t receive any flowers from him, but did relay that I did receive flowers.” On the other end of the phone, my uncle calmly explained that the flowers weren’t supposed to be from him. My mother got very confused and asked him what he meant. What came next made me silent!

He said that he was in church that morning, and prayed to St. Therese to have someone send my mother flowers (roses) for her birthday! He had complete faith that this would happen, and knew nothing about my story. Once she told him what happened, he was amazed but not surprised!

She asked him what time this happened, “Between 8:30am and 9″ he said!

So normally I don’t post unless it’s the monthly inspirational message, but this story is so incredible that even as a medium, I was completely shocked! So I thought I’d share…

Today is my mother’s birthday and I was planning to see her over the weekend. During that time I was going to give her a gift and I wasn’t planning on sending anything in the mail. However, I was woken up by a message early this morning (around 8:30am) that told me to buy her a dozen roses. I saw the image of the roses in my mind — and “knew” that this was her best friend who had passed a few years ago. She has come to me several times over the past few years, but with no urgent requests such as this.

Along with the image came the message to send her roses and to add her name on them. I was thinking, “Ok, this is going a little too far!” I didn’t feel sending my mom flowers with her best friend’s name on them who is deceased would be appropriate for her birthday. The last thing I would want would be my mother getting upset or sad on her birthday! Plus that would be a little strange.

I was fighting this message, but it was so clear. So then, she said, “Don’t put my actual name on it, write that they are from “Sophia”. Now this was getting even weirder. She wanted me to put a name on there that made absolutely no sense? I knew that my mom and her best friend had nicknames for each other back in high school, but I didn’t know what they were. They had been friends since there were very young.

So, reluctantly, I ordered the roses and wrote a card along with the message from “Sophia”. If, by chance, my mother got confused by this message, I could always come up with something! This protected me from saying they were from her friend on the other side. It just seemed too over the top, even for someone like me! I love roses, but am really not a fan of sending red ones. When I inquired if they had any additional colors, they told me there had rare green roses in the shop! I had never seen green roses, but the shop owner said they were absolutely gorgeous, so I said YES.

So about an hour ago, I called my mom to see if she received them. She had just gotten them as I called and was reading the card. She read the part about “Sophia” and said, “Who’s Sophia?” Ok, now I know I was just out of my mind and had to come up with something. But she just bypassed it and read the rest of the card without much to say. So now I had to know! I said, “Mom what did you and your best friend call each other growing up?” She stopped for a few moments, and had to spend some time recollecting. She said, “I remember we used to call each other by the names of two Italian ladies.” I said, “Was it Sophia?” And then there was silence. She gasped, “Yes! We were Angelina and Sophia”!

WHOA! This was NOT happening! I was woken up by a spirit submitting an order for flowers for my mom’s birthday? No way. But should I really be surprised? So I inquired further. She said, ” I can’t believe this. My friend gave me a doll for Christmas many years ago and as I was cleaning this morning I was praying to her telling her how special the doll was to me!”

I asked my mom what time that was, she said “Around 8:30 in the morning….”

Wow!

May 2010 Inspirational Message From Marisa Liza Pell

Greetings!

Congrats! You are through the majority of the major harsh energies from the past several months including misunderstandings, delays and worries. This is especially true concerning business partnerships and the workplace in general. The word “monkey wrench” comes to mind! Sometimes your carefully laid plans don’t work out no matter how hard you try to force them to happen.

And there is usually a reason for that! It’s either not the right time, or a different opportunity is meant to be in your life. Remember, what the universe has in store for you is usually better than ANYTHING you will dream up for yourself. Plus, the universe is not self-defeating and does not look to sabotage our lives!

Right now you are in the midst of some very clear and “clean” energy. It’s like going from a traffic jam in the city to a nice Sunday drive through the country side. But those of you who are used to the chaotic life will be quite weary during this time. You might ask, “Why am I feeling so calm”? “The other shoe must be dropping soon!” or better yet, “I’M BORED!!” Yes, this calm energy will make you feel a little bored, but with the racing mind a little on a the back burner, you are ripe with new possibilities for creative expression AND to put your affirmations to the universe on the table. What are your dreams? Now is the time to reaffirm them to the universe, because anything you put out now will act like a healthy seed that will begin to sprout great results!

Do not try to plan your “future” right now. There is a saying which makes me laugh every time but it’s so true, “If you want to make God laugh, plan your day!” Sometimes your carefully laid plans are really not the best for you! If you’re unhappy or most of your life has been difficult, maybe you should STOP planning — because the decisions you are making on your own probably aren’t working in the long run.

This is a time to trust others and have faith! Of all the challenges in the universe, FEAR is the largest culprit. It affects more of us than anything, and misread perceptions are the number one cause of us acting out towards our fellow human beings. What we perceive is usually our reality, but we usually fall short in getting the FACTS! Usually, instead of communicating our fears, we go into protection mode, and when we PERCEIVE a threat, we act on it. Whether that means pulling back from an important person, not being open with a loved one, or acting out through irrational emotions — the only person you will hurt is you.

How many of you have found out that what you believed in your head wasn’t true at all once you asked for the facts? Perhaps you held onto anger and resentment for years only to find out that you misinterpreted someone’s intentions. Being overly protective of yourself will only alienate people! However, this is not as easy as it sounds.

Back in the old days, people didn’t lock their doors!! Can you believe it? Yes, people actually trusted their neighbors and knew that in time of need they could rely on those in their community for help. In the era of TV and Media News, we hear the message of fear every day — PEOPLE ARE BAD! They want to rob from you, steal from you, sue you and so on. We don’t hear about people that are GOOD and who help other people.

Also, we are trained to take actions so we aren’t taken advantage of. We are told that if we scream at people we get results! The screeching wheel gets the oil. We need to put up fences to defend our property lines! Don’t stop to help someone in need, you might get hurt! We are being told to isolate ourselves more and more from our fellow human beings. The message in our minds is that at anytime someone could turn against us! So you better protect yourself! Doesn’t that sound silly? What happens to those people that do this? Yes, they end up alone and bitter at the world!

I could tell you personally that this is not the case when booking clients for my services. I give my appointment setters and administrative staff full reign over the business I take in. An overly aggressive client, a rude tone, or someone speaking to my staff in a disrespectful manner will not get an appointment.

Yes, it is true. I do not take every single client that wants to book an appointment if the energy is not right. I know that this will only drain my staff and myself, as WELL AS THE CLIENT. Knowing when something or someone is NOT RIGHT FOR YOU is the solution. Who wants an unhappy client? I have to know my limitations and what I can handle and what I can’t. I am not superwoman and cannot handle everyone’s energies. I tend to react and then I don’t give my best. However, I do have readers that I refer who are not affected by the same energies I am sensitive to! Knowing yourself is the first step to a peaceful life!! Knowing what WON’T work for you before you agree to something is the key!

The question for you is: Who are YOU saying YES to when you should be saying NO? In business are you dealing with people who aren’t right for you just for the money? Are you in a job that doesn’t treat you right because you are in fear of not finding another one? Are you helping so many people that you have no time for yourself? Do you live in guilt that others won’t like you if you don’t do things for them? Let me say for sure, it will never be enough!! Guilt is an endless treadmill! People pleasing doesn’t exist — because most of the people you are trying to please are never pleased to begin with!!!

So on this lovely weekend in May, get yourself off the couch and do something fun! Plan a trip– give yourself something to look forward to in life! Say NO today!! You don’t have to be rude — see how it feels! Just say, “I’m sorry I have other things planned today!” Give me a call during the week! More often than not, that person will find someone or something else in the upcoming day for relief and YOU WILL BE HAVING FUN!!

Ok so let’s forget about the commercialization of Valentine’s Day. I myself have never been a big fan. In fact, it’s a little cheesy. BUT, I am a big fan of meeting the right person and falling in love. I have been overwhelmed lately with a shift that I am not only feeling, but I believe this vast “bubble of romance” will be affecting everyone very soon.

You will see a lot of celebrity couples “REUNITING”. Will we see a re-igniting of the flame between Jen and Brad? Why is the media so obsessed with this couple? I believe it is because they have some unfinished business, and that some tough lessons need to be learned. The marriage broke up before they had a chance to have their “breakthrough”. I heard this a while ago, and the phrase always stuck with me….

“It’s not a BREAKDOWN, it’s a BREAKTHROUGH”

Sadly most couples don’t get tough when the tough gets going. We are addicted to the instant gratification that our fast paced lives have to offer. Unfortunately, these intense bouts of chemical lightening storms usually amount to nothing but ashes. We want that passionate type of love that everyone yearns for. Some say that this type of love is no more real than Santa Claus (and I still don’t doubt good ol’ St. Nick’s existence!).

Ok, I’m going to say it! I truly believe the fairytale still exists, but not without human error and defect. In my case, I’ve been through a lot of what it isn’t. What I thought was once love was nothing more than a dopamine surge that ended up feeling like hitting the dry concrete from a two story building. The quest for that feeling again became so paramount that I would do anything just to feel it again. Sounds a little addict like, doesn’t it?

To me, True love is not a lightning storm, it’s the flame from one small lighter in a dark stadium.

From an intuitive point of view, I’ve been seeing clients for close to 15 years and the topic of love comes up rather frequently. I see the same patterns time and time again. Simply put, a crash follows the high. Some people just like the drama and need a thunderous sea. Calm waters make them restless. I once heard a woman at an event say that her relationship was so normal and boring, that it was making her insane — she started balling crying (I just looked at her like a deer in the headlights) LOL. I don’t believe we are meant to live in a lifeless, boring state within a meaningful blossoming relationship. But two people must be willing to grow spiritually and together. Hence the phrase “we’ve grown apart”.

Growing together means having some growing pains! Not everything is comfortable. As much as I want to run in a field of flowers and hearts everyday, it’s not realistic while learning our life lessons and for true growth of a partnership. I usually only blog on my monthly inspirational message. But I had some free time today, and have been pondering this issue.

Probably because we have the launch of our new dating event, Intuidate, on Friday. I am hoping to shed some light on an intuitive solution in the dating world. It’s really not about dating per se. It’s more about using your innate intuitive skills to align yourself with your destined path. Once you are aligned and “on track”, you will be on your way to finding true love.

Hope you enjoyed my little tangent. There IS a shift going on, so make the best of it. You will find yourself more open, passionate and ready than ever before to finally give it your all in the arena of love. Don’t give up on love just yet, the right person hasn’t given up on you.

I’m proud to say that I’ve worked for twelve years introducing America to various brilliant experts on The Oprah Show and other media venues. This is refreshing for me, because sometimes I think I’ve seen it all. Marisa Pell is truly the New Appealing Star in the Spiritual arena like no-one we’ve experienced before.

Marisa Liza Pell is a Spiritual Medium and Medical Intuitive – and one of the youngest in the media today. She is the most down-to-earth and disarmingly honest Spiritual Medium I have met. I’m proud to say that I’ve worked for twelve years introducing America to various brilliant experts on The Oprah Show and other media venues. That’s why it is a real pleasure to meet someone who represents a Big Change in Media in terms of how we view such a controversial topic and how we view ourselves. This is refreshing for me, because sometimes I think I’ve seen it all. I started working with a client named Marisa Liza Pell, who carries herself with the same dignity, integrity and sense of fun that are hallmarks of the best clients a PR person can hope for. Marisa Pell is truly the New Appealing Star in the Spiritual arena like no-one we’ve experienced before.

Marisa Liza Pell is a Spiritual Medium and Medical Intuitive – and one of the youngest in the media today. She is the most down-to-earth and disarmingly honest Spiritual Medium I have met. She also looks like the girl next door and doesn’t have black beady eyes or a crystal ball. The two clients that Marisa reminds me of most of are Susan Miller, America’s number-one selling Astrologer, who has managed to make the esoterica of Astrology real to Americans, and Shirley MacLaine, whose own spiritual journey is always accomplished with wit and insight.

In fact, when I first asked Marisa how she explains what she does on a daily basis to people she meets, she laughed and said, “I do what I feel, and I tailor it to the person asking. Sometimes I tell them straight out that I talk to dead people because I love the reaction. Other times, I keep it corporate and focus on intuitive development. And, sometimes when the mood strikes me, I just tell them I paint the white lines on the highway!” For me, after years of meeting the non-Shirley MacLaines of the movement (humorless New Age drones) Marisa in a couple of seconds had me laughing. And as Marshall McLuhan says, “If you’re not laughing, you’re not learning”.

Well aware that people may judge someone “Spiritual”, Marisa disdains the vague category of “psychic” for that reason. “I don’t want to be thought of as the lady in the turban on the boardwalk reading palms.” The fact is, Marisa never will be confused with that cliché image. Ok, so I’m getting pretty frustrated with the domino effect of the negative thought obsessions with the economy. Granted, there is a crisis, however, the media has a very strong hold on how we think as a whole and make our decisions. What if the people at the news station decided today to tell us that the economy is back and better than ever? Would you have a change in thought even though it may not be true?

It’s time to seek your own wise counsel and operate from an intuitive standpoint rather than follow a negative wave of thought consciousness. Get creative and find ways to have fun generating income. If you have a lot of money, spend some to keep a neighbor in business.

To be blunt: If your thoughts go to worry and fear, you are contributing to the economic crisis. At a time when people need some hope and inspiration, the country needs strong leaders and positive thinkers.

Why not be one of them? Don’t get me wrong — I’m not telling you to go spend all your money! What I am saying is to not let your mind go racing into gloom and doom thinking!

Tailoring back your expenses right now is a smart idea. Mentally planning for poverty is not. Money is energy, and needs to keep circulating. Hoarding and holding back in fear will stop this circulation. Eventually, the energy of your own money will come to a halt.

If you don’t circulate your money, money cannot be circulated back to you. Think about it — what if everyone stopped spending all their money right now? There would be no businesses, no jobs, no grocery stores, no doctors, no home builders, no electrical company — I can go on and on.

We all depend on all of these things — but what do all of these have in common? PEOPLE! People need money circulated back to them to live and put food on the table. If these PEOPLE are making money, more companies can thrive and MORE JOBS can be created to give more people the opportunity to provide for themselves and their families.

Spending wisely within your means is fine. Any extreme activity can be destructive. Affirm that you’ll make it through. Think in terms of abundance. Give your waitress a good tip (provided she/he give you good service!)

Don’t try to cut corners, or pull a fast one just to save some money. This energy will be returned to you three fold. Just do the right thing. Help people in your family, office or community to stay positive. Do something fun that doesn’t cost a lot of money. These moments with friends and family are priceless anyway.

Something else to try: ASK YOUR SPIRITUAL SOURCE FOR MORE ABUNDANCE. Pray and ask for help! Stop relying on your own resources. If we follow spiritual law, we will only know abundance. Ask humbly for help in good faith for your needs to be provided for, and they will be in one way or another.

An ineffective way is to DEMAND your spiritual source or higher power for WHAT YOU THINK YOU WANT. The universe will deliver your abundance in unexpected ways. These ways may not be money directly given to you. A family member may help you out, or someone may pick up the check for dinner.

BE GRATEFUL for your abundance and circulate the energy of abundance and it will be returned to you!

I just received an e-mail testimonial from the guest I wrote about in my blog post below about events happening while a gallery is taking place, only to be validated later. Of course I don’t remember all the details, so it really helped that Pat sent me her version of what transpired after the session. I wanted to share this with all of you so that you could see that even if you don’t understand information while you are having the session, wonderful validations could happen somtimes many months later. In my opinion, these moments make the experience all the more magical!

Someone asked at one of your galleries if you ever give information that is actually happening as you speak. I’d like to share this story with you.

At the end of my very first visit to you, you said there was a dog in my life and the dog’s name was Lexi. I said I did not know of any dog named Lexi. You then said the dog’s name was Lexi or Alexis and I continued to have no idea of any dog by that name. The closest thing I could relate this to was that my veterinarian drove a Lexus. You said this is a dog and insisted the that I write the dog’s name down because this dog would have a special meaning to me. That was the last thing you said to me before I left that morning.

Naturally since this was my first visit with you, I was overwhelmed with the details and accuracy of events you described to me that morning. It was also at a time when I had suffered a devastating loss, so needless to say when I left you I needed some alone time to process and consider everything you had told me. When I walked to my car, I had a voice mail from my friend, Kate, but decided to call her a little later. When I pulled in my driveway Kate was calling again, and when I went in the house she had left a message on my answering machine. After I was home about an hour I returned Kate’s call. Here is what followed.

Kate was very excited when I returned her call. Her family dog had been lost a few months prior and she had posted a very generous reward in the newspaper. Someone had seen the story and reward and called her telling her that they a beautiful dog like the one she had lost but they had to find a good home for her because they were relocating. Kate already had two dogs but she told me her and her husband went to see the dog that morning, and they brought her home and she was just beautiful. Then she told me her name was Lexi, and I would just love her and did I have a crate she could borrow. My heart stopped for a second as I repeated “Lexi?”. She could hear the surprise in my voice and she said, “well her real name on her papers is Alexis, but they call her Lexi”. Lexi turned out to be an amazing dog and I spend all my time with her now when I visit Kate.

About 11 months later I was sitting with Kate at her house in front of the fire on a snowy night. Kate on one leather couch, me on the other with Lexi lying beside me with her head on my lap as I held her head, rubbing her neck as she rested. Then out of nowhere, Kate looked over and said to me, “There is something I need to tell you because I watch you with Lexi and I know you love her so much and she loves you. The morning we went to get Lexi we were not bringing her home for us, we already had two dogs, and we went to get her for you. We knew that a dog would be the one thing that might help you get through the difficult time you were going through, but when I got her home I just fell so in love with her and could not part with her “.

So Marisa, while you were telling me about a dog named Lexi that morning, Kate was about 45 miles away on her way to pick up a dog named Lexi with every intention of bringing her home to me. While I would have loved to have Lexi, and while this may or may not have worked out as was meant to be, Lexi is a very real and very special part of my life, and I am so grateful for all the love she shares with me. Lexi has a wonderful life with a wonderful family, and all the love she could possible want, and she is a true angel that continues to touch my life in a very special way.

Hello Again,

Wow, I’m double dipping today. Hopefully, this will make up for all this time that I didn’t write. Either too much or not enough right?

As most of you know (or may not know), the difference between mediums and psychics are vast. Performing readings at group events can be physically draining at times. A medium not only receives messages but must also be a translator for the messages coming through. The ability to interpret the language correctly becomes very instrumental in attempting to relay the message to the living person.

Last Friday, we had a gallery at The Crowne Plaza Monroe, near East Brunswick NJ. It was a rainy night and everyone was suffering from a case of the ‘blahs” and just being in slow motion. I could see it was going to be slow night for mental clarity among us since the energy was like quicksand. I always tell my audience that it is just as important to be open and receptive as it is for me to be. Providing messages to anyone also requires clear, sharp thinking both on my part and the part of the person receiving the message.

This is where validations come in. Sometimes, newcomers get nervous when the spotlight is on them and have what I call “psychic amnesia”. They become like a deer in the headlights when I finally do come to them with a message. They may forget their own name, their loved ones names who have passed. This may be due to nervousness, or just plain overwhelm from the experience. Problem is without validations from the sitter, it is tough to see if the information is really for them. This is why I always tell people to write down the information whether or not it makes sense to them.

With this work, unfortunately for me, most of the validations come after I do the readings and go home. Once the sitter leaves the gallery, and is in a calm state, a lot of the details of the session start to make sense. In addition, once they present the information to their families, they have get more information validated. A session is like a puzzle piece that must be put together by various family members and friends.

When I was explaining how the group session worked on Friday, I saw a nice young couple in front of me who asked about language barriers in sessions. I asked the girl how they had heard about me, and she said she reads the blog! So, Julia, this blog goes out to you!

I really didn’t think that a lot of people were reading these posts, but Julie was enjoying them quite a bit. THANK YOU JULIA for inspiring me to blog more!

Julie was actually the first person I came to at the gallery. Some names made sense and we were off to a good start, but then the connection got muddled and other people’s relatives started to jump in. I was bummed at the end of the gallery because I really wanted Julie to leave with a connection, because I felt strongly that someone was there for her.

Well it turns out someone was, and it happened to be her grandfather, but she didn’t realize it until she left. She was nice enough to send me an awesome e-mail about her experience telling about what she figured out afterwards.

She allowed me to post it here for all of you! So here it is…and if you have a story, send it in!

Hi Marisa,

Just wanted to say thanks for a wonderful session today at Crowne Plaza Monroe. I’m the girl who asked you about the language barrier when connecting with the spirits. Don’t know if you remember, but at one point you said something about the name George…and cheerleading…and a scrapbook..to two ladies sitting close to the door, but those things didn’t make too much sense to them. While on the way home, I realized that my grandfather who had passed was named George. My little sister was in the cheerleading team, and she had just showed me in fact two days ago a scrapbook that she made about a month ago on a trip to Europe. How odd is that!

I’m not sure if it is a coincidence that I can relate to all three things since one of the two ladies did mention she was thinking of redoing her wedding album. But I wish I had realized my connection during the session and raised my hand! In the beginning of the session you had us think of the people whom we hope to connect to, and my grandfather was the first person I thought about. So maybe he was there after all, had I known that!!! I hope he will be able to show me some signs or signal to let me know he was there (if he was).

My friend (the only guy there haha) is still thinking hard about the person you mentioned who was shot during some underground business type incident, hopefully he will be able to come up with something.

Although I didn\’t get a reading tonight, it was really amazing to see how spirits from the other side are able to communicate to us. I’ve always been very interested in the spiritual world myself and do hope someday i will be able to do what you do and help others. I’m glad most people at the event did get some closure or questions answered. It was truely an unforgettable experience and please don’t ever stop doing what you do. I look foward to seeing you again in the future and hopefully next time some of \”my people\” will be able to connect with you!

Hello Again,

Please accept my utmost apologies for not writing in quite a while. It’s been very busy around here, and travel has had me on the road a lot. But no excuses! I have a lot to say these days, which I think you will find interesting. If you haven’t already, please read my May Inspirational Message below about all the changes going on with jobs.

So back to my topic at hand: I’ve been noticing some strange patterns happening at group galleries and private sessions lately. Those on the other side are mentioning events that are going on somewhere else WHILE THE SESSION IS TAKING PLACE! Of course the person being read cannot validate these details because they have no idea that they are going on, so luckily I’ve had some people come back and tell me what transpired after they left the session.

This is why I have people take detailed notes of everything I say. If the person being read only writes down what makes sense while the session is happening, then they are missing out on all the other information that could be validated by family members once they leave. These, to me, are the real AH HA moments!

The one story that blew me away came from a woman who has come to see me five times, and each time I had a hard time reading her. When I refer to people ‘blocking’ their energy, I would say she wins hands down! I remember scheduling a session with a woman over the phone to come and see me in person. I liked her energy and was looking forward to seeing her. Even though she said she has seen me before, I didn’t recall the name. When she came to the door, I knew I recognized her face but couldn’t place it. As she sat down, she said she had to tell me something amazing that happened to her after the last reading. Then she reminded me that I had a very difficult time with her each time I read her because of her energy being blocked. She told me at one point, I got so frustrated I had to leave the room! We had a good laugh about it, and I couldn’t believe after all this that she kept coming back.

Now to the good stuff. She told me that while I was reading her last time, I mentioned a dog named Lexi or Alexis. So, after the reading, the person went home and saw that there were several messages from her friend on her phone. She didn’t feel like talking to anyone, so she ignored the calls. Finally, the calls got so persistent that she called her friend back. Her friend told her she was trying to get in touch with her all day to let her know that she just got a NEW DOG! The name was Alexis on paper but Lexi for short. This all happened WHILE THE PERSON WAS GETTING THE READING!

But wait, it gets better! About a year later, the woman was at her friend’s house with the dog and her friend said she had a confession to make. She told her that Bernstein the dog was supposed to be a GIFT FOR THE WOMAN who got the reading, but when she picked it up she got so attached to it that she kept it!

The woman was actually connecting to her husband who passed. He was mentioning this dog while the gallery was going on to let her know she would be getting a dog, but her friend got it instead!

In another instance, I was doing a private gallery at a home in NJ. When I arrived, the host told me that several people were not able to make it. During the session I mentioned a Ronnie* (name changed), and the host said that that was her next door neighbor that was supposed to be there, but was unable to come last minute. Since there was someone there for her, I had to give the host messages to give her even though the woman was not there.

The spirit was the woman’s grandmother and she told us to tell her not to to let Ronnie’s husband measure the front door, because the measurements would be wrong and when the new door came it would not fit. I asked the host if Ronnie* and her husband were doing renovations. She said yes that they were remodeling their kitchen, but knew nothing about a new front door. The grandmother also mentioned collector sea shell soaps, and again the host didn’t know what this meant.

The next day I received a phone call from the host telling me that she went over Ronnie’s house, and that WHILE THE MESSAGES WERE BEING GIVEN ABOUT HER, her FRONT DOOR WAS BEING MEASURED AT THAT EXACT TIME. There were several people at her house doing this, including her husband. At that point in time, she didn’t know what the seashell soaps were. Then suddenly she remembered that she had a box of her grandmother’s seashell soaps, and in honor of her she was redoing her bathroom with matching seashell wallpaper!

Moral of the story is: don’t get frustrated if you don’t understand the messages right away!

PS Sometimes I even get frustrated if I can’t validate details! Keep telling me your stories, it keeps me inspired to do the work!
